The Preceptor Internship is a unique program offering skill development and support to new and experienced preceptors. The program is based on a “coach approach,” in which participants work with a professional coach to set and attain individual learning goals for the program – and learn how to use these coaching skills with new staff learners and students.

Managing Programs: College of Health Disciplines, UBC, is primarily directed towards those involved in developing or managing preceptor programs.  It is based on the presumption that a healthy cycle of preceptor support is required in today's environment in order to educate, recruit and retain healthcare professionals and foster a culture of continued learning.
